Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

This position is based at the PCA Box Plant located in Fairfield, OH.

This position will perform a variety of maintenance tasks including diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and Pneumatic systems on plant equipment.

Technicians work as part of a team to safely perform Preventive Maintenance Activities as well as answer break down calls in a Production Environment.

All Maintenance Technician positions are multi-craft, and training is provided to develop these skills.

Basic Qualifications

2+ Years' experience in successfully troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.

A Technical Degree in the Mechanical or Electrical Trades is a plus.

Be Authorized to work in the US.

Experience in the Corrugated Packaging or Printing Industry is a plus.

Must be able to work 3rd shift- 11 : 00pm-7 : 00am Sunday-Thursday

Experience : Demonstrated longevity of at least 2 years of Maintenance experience in previous employment. Preference given to candidates with previous experience.

Agility : Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds individually, walk, sit, stand, squat, and bend over repetitively and consistently, throughout your shift with or without reasonable accommodation.

What you will get :

$25.00 - $38.00 based on mechanical and electrical skills and experience.

PCA provides paid training to help technicians advance through the skill levels and achieve higher pay.

Technicians supply their own basic hand tools. PCA provides a tool stipend (or replacement) to help technicians maintain basic hand tools. PCA provides all special and heavy tools.

PCA provides Safety shoes and Safety Glass stipends

PCA provides Uniforms for Maintenance Technicians

Compensation and Benefits

Starting salary for position : $25.00-38.00 per hour.

Paid Vacation : 2 weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata Vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year.

Paid Holidays.

Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages medical, dental, and vision - and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.

Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions .
