OILCO, the leader in swivel joint technology, seeks a CNC Operator / Junior Programmer.

We’re looking for an operator aiming to step up the CNC ladder who thrives in a teamwork environment. Duties and Responsibilities - Monitor multiple CNC programs for production runs with the help of our CNC Programming Lead

  • Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto machines
  • Perform in-process inspections during production and monitor the machines for errors
  • Process work orders independently or with minimal instructions
  • Troubleshoot basic issues during the manufacturing process
  • Perform typical daily maintenance on machines
  • Maintains machines, tools, and overall shop in a clean and safe working manner
  • Enjoys working with a small, collaborative team

Minimum Requirements - High school diploma or GED with related experience / training

  • Completion of a technical or associate degree program, a bonus
  • CNC Certification or CNC Trade school, is a major plus
  • 2-3 years of relative work experience is highly preferred and will advance all application
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or related field, a bonus
  • Ability to utilize calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions
  • Basic hand tool and machinist skills are recommended
  • Possess a familiarity with blueprint and shop drawing reading
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be authorized to work in the US

    • Job Conditions & Physical Activities Required - Movement within the office and around an active manufacturing / warehousing facility and production environment

  • Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 50 pounds and pushing, pulling, or standing and walking for extended periods
  • While performing duties of the job, the employee is required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear
  • Required to wear safety glasses and utilize other safety equipment as required while present on the production floor
