Front End User Interface Designer / Developer

Contract

Job Title : Front End User Interface Designer / Developer

Duration : 6+ months

Location : Charlotte, NC

This role is for a talented Front End User Interface Designer / Developer who is passionate about building dynamic interfaces and experiences that are engaging, functional, and fun.

Primary Responsibilities include :

Deliver high-fidelity prototypes for new user interfaces and interactions for various online projects.
Deliver concept and vision prototypes, applying rapid ideation and prototyping skills.
Support / Coach development teams during development of UI.

Tasks and Responsibilities :

PHP knowledge is greatly preferred.

Ability to rapidly iterate through prototypes.

Ability to create complex interactions using jQuery.

Responsive Web experience is a big plus.

Stay up-to-date on new technologies and trends.

Expert knowledge of optimizing client-side performance.

Familiarity with designing for financial services.

Familiarity with Section 508, accessibility guidelines.

Suggested Experience & Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Financial experience is preferred.

Experience with client-facing sites is preferred.
