The Legal Assistant works directly with our Personal Injury Attorney in a fast-paced office environment.
They will assist the attorney from beginning to pre demand in developing personal injury cases for settlement. The position entails extensive contact with clients, insurance adjusters, and medical providers. Must be able to gather, analyze and research information and documents and manage a high-volume caseload.

1+ years of legal assistant experience (we train and promote within)
Customer service and call center experience a plus
High School Diploma or GED
Bilingual in English and Spanish required
Knowledge of personal injury software, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
Dropbox and understanding of cloud-based software and systems
Communication with clients to obtain treatment updates and relevant case information
Requesting medical records from the clients specific medical providers
Requesting medical invoices associated with pertinent dates of services
Updated medical boards / settlement statements with outstanding balances and subrogation claims
Obtaining updated subrogation logs
File maintenance
Scanning and organizing medical records, medical invoices, and subrogation logs
