A little about this position :

The Snow Reporter's primary responsibility is to provide daily snow conditions and operational messaging to our guests and employees.

This includes the creation and distribution of the daily snow and weather report, writing and recording messages and assistance to the social media team.

Supports the Marketing Team with internal and external marketing campaigns, strategies, events and general mountain information.

Supports the guest service team, by providing relevant resort information and assists in product sales lift tickets, season passes, and lessons.

Requirements :

College degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications or journalism.

Minimum of one year experience in public relations, communications or media relations.

Basic knowledge of online programming and social media.

Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Must be available to work flexible hours, including start times as early as 5 : 30am and weekends / holidays

Strong writing skills mandatory

Intermediate skiing or snowboarding ability

Knowledge of ski area operations and the resort industry is helpful

Hourly pay rate : $22.77 to $24.58
