The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Vocational Rehabilitation and Blind Services Office. This part-time position drives visually impaired staff to appointments or meetings, provides reader services, assists with filling out forms, and assistance with carrying and / or transporting equipment. This position spends a significant amount of time driving a vehicle in various conditions and will be at the homes of consumers.

Qualifications for this Career Opportunity

Knowledge of Montana motor vehicle operation rules and regulations

Demonstrated skill in safe vehicle operation

Ability to write legibly

Ability to find a location when given an address

Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds

Meet minimum qualifications :

• Ability to read at 12th grade level
• Five years driving experience

Additional Information

This position may be eligible for a statutory $1.00 an hour base pay increase effective July 1, 2026. This position is open until filled with frequent screening of applicants.
