Overview :

An exciting and challenging opportunity is available within the Advanced Circuit & Packaging business for an Applications Engineer , located in Marlborough, MA .

This position, part of the metallization group of APT, will focus on leading and supporting applications projects for customers in the NAR / EUR region. Key areas of focus include products and materials for lead-free solder, Ni UBM / barrier layer, and copper applications, including copper pillar, RDL, TSV, and dual damascene.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support customer engagements for the metallization product portfolio within the Advanced Circuit & Packaging business.
• Execute customer demonstrations and product troubleshooting to meet timelines; collect, analyze, and summarize data with appropriate documentation.
• Design and conduct experiments, including operation of equipment and instrumentation for electroplating, electrochemistry, chromatography, optical and scanning electron microscopy, material and mechanical testing, etc.
• Prepare and present technical reports internally and externally to customers and OEMs.
• Collaborate with global Applications, New Product Development, and Development Engineering teams to share findings and obtain technical input.
• Adhere to enhanced safety protocols and participate in all group safety activities.
