Maintenance Supervisor

A well-established and growing food manufacturer is urgently seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance strategy and ensure high reliability performance across a fast-paced, refrigerated production environment.

This is a key leadership role with strong long-term stability and the ability to make immediate operational impact.

Core Responsibilities

Lead, develop, and mentor a multi-shift maintenance team

Ensure uptime and mechanical / electrical reliability across the facility

Own preventive & predictive maintenance systems (CMMS)

Troubleshoot equipment, utilities, and refrigeration / cooler systems

Partner closely with Operations and Safety to support plant goals

Oversee maintenance planning, capital projects, and contractor work

Support strict food safety and regulatory requirements

Ideal Profile

5+ years in maintenance leadership within food or protein manufacturing

Strong electrical troubleshooting background required

Experience working in cooler / chilled processing environments

Pork / meat background highly preferred — strong local food candidates considered

Proven ability to coach, build structure, and elevate reliability
