They specialize in federal government, public works, and healthcare projects. The first project you'll start on is a $20M healthcare facility in Fairfield.

The QC Manager is responsible for ensuring that all construction activities and completed work strictly adhere to the project’s contract documents, specifications, and all applicable federal, state, and local requirements. This position is a key field-based role, particularly on USACE, NAVFAC, and other federally funded projects, and requires thorough documentation, regular inspections, and consistent collaboration with government representatives.
What You'll Be Doing :
Implement and manage the project's Quality Control Plan in accordance with USACE, NAVFAC, and other federal agency requirementsLead and document the Three-Phase QC process : Preparatory Meetings, Initial Inspections, and Follow-up InspectionsEnsure all work complies with contract documents, including drawings, specifications, and approved submittalsMaintain and update the Quality Control Plan, submittals, deficiency logs, and inspection reportsCoordinate with superintendents, project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to verify quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycleMaintain comprehensive documentation, including daily QC reports, inspection logs, test results, deficiency tracking, and punch listsReview subcontractor and vendor compliance with project-specific quality requirementsInterface with owner representatives (e.g., USACE or NAVFAC) and attend regular QC and coordination meetingsManage and coordinate third-party testing and special inspections, reviewing results for accuracy and conformanceSupport the project team in achieving zero-defect deliverables and timely inspectionsLead weekly Quality Control and Safety meetings to ensure continuous communication and complianceContribute to project closeout including final inspections, punch list resolution, and as-built documentationRequirements :
3+ years of Quality Control or Superintendent experience on federal projects (e.g., USACE, NAVFAC, VA, GSA)Solid understanding of the Three-Phase Quality Control System and related federal construction QC processesKnowledge of EM 385-1-1, OSHA standards, and other applicable federal safety and quality regulations
