Pay Range : Starts at $35 / hour. Daily pay available!

Shift Differentials : Available for night, weekend, and additional shifts.

Location : SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - St. Louis, MO

Requirements : Completion of a Sonography program and ARDMS or CCI registry in Abdomen, OB / GYN, or Vascular within 12 months of hire.

Job Summary : Perform diagnostic procedures using ultrasound technology to produce quality images for medical interpretation. Registration as a sonographer in the relevant specialty is necessary.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Set up and adjust equipment, manually positioning transducers for exams.
• Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures.
• Conduct routine and complex studies, assisting in various imaging procedures.
• Identify significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations.
• Ensure equipment is functioning properly and report any issues accordingly.
• Submit high-quality images and documents to PACS promptly, ensuring proper labeling and patient history.
• Help maintain a clean and organized department.
• Comply with regulatory agency requirements.
• Work in a safe and alert manner.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
