JOB SUMMARY

The Commercial Insurance Relations Project Manager works closely with external commercial insurance teams, clients, and internal HailSolve Teams to navigate the complexities of hail damage identification on commercial roofs. This role will focus on completing timely inspections, preparing detailed and thorough reports, and providing accurate estimates that allow for all parties to make informed decisions about the severity, restoration costs, and downstream effects of hail damage.

Ideal candidates for the Commercial Insurance Relations Project Manager position are hands-on, technically-competent professionals with a history of success within a Commercial Independent Adjusting Firm, Brokerage Firm, or Insurance Carrier. They will have a full understanding of the Insurance Settlement Process and what it means to operate as a technical expert and deliver accurate information that enables all parties involved to make informed decisions. This role requires a sophisticated understanding of adjusting, general business acumen, and high-dollar negotiations. You must also operate with transparency, integrity, and protect HailSolve's reputation as an exceptional service provider in an industry ripe with complexity and subjectivity.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct field inspections on commercial buildings to identify the extent of hail damage, obtain appropriate documentation, and prepare reports that document a roof system's damage and condition
  • Review reports and insurance policies for coverage, terms, and exceptions
  • Participate in business presentations when needed to facilitate positive outcomes
  • Interface in a professional respectable manner with clients, adjusters, insurance brokers / carriers, engineers, and consultants
  • Prepare restoration estimates based on existing hail damage
  • Draft and complete additional supplemental estimates as needed throughout a project
  • Provide internal support to core functions within HailSolve, and complete other internal projects and work as required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant experience in the restoration and / or restoration contracting field specializing in working for / with insurance companies, with responsibilities related to inspecting, scheduling, project management, and estimating
  • Proficient with Xactimate, Symbility, RS Means, or other estimating software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid drivers license and able to commute to office or project locations
  • Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
  • Able to meet deadlines while being detail oriented
  • Strong interpersonal work ethic and leadership skills and qualities
  • Exceptional customer service skills to support and solve our clients questions and requests
  • Local and Overnight travel up to 2-4 days per week, including long drives and air travel
  • ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Able to navigate heights and climb ladders to reach multi-level roofs without assistance
  • Carrying ladders and operating other pieces of field equipment are essential functions of the job
  • Able to work extended hours on job sites as required
