Job description

Purpose :

  • To monitor and track clients' progress of assigned caseload.
  • To provide individual and group outpatient counseling services for an assigned caseload of clients.

Supervision Received :

  • Receives direct supervision from the Manager, Outpatient Mental Health.

    • Supervision Exercised :

  • N / A

    • Qualifications :

  • M.A. / M.S. / M.Ed. in the Social Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field; at least 2 years experience in the

    • MH / MR field. Prior experience in an outpatient setting helpful.

  • Good communication skills.
  • Good writing (documentation) skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of mental health systems and supports.
