We have immediate hire openings for Senior Configuration Manager to join our PMS 515 Team supporting Business Financial Management (BFM) team, Washington, DC who wants to grow with the Company. We are headquartered in Virginia Beach, VA.

Security Clearance :

Applicants must be eligible to hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.

Position / Job Description : General Tasking Description :

Manage Configuration Issues : Responsible for overseeing configuration management for all hardware inventory, documentation, product releases, and software configurations.

Collaborate with Configuration Control Board : Work closely with the Configuration Control Board to define and implement procedures for releasing new products throughout their entire lifecycle.

Change Management Guidance : Provide guidance on change management processes to ensure all changes are systematically approved and documented.

Product Configuration Management : Oversee product configuration management to maintain the integrity and traceability of configurations throughout the product lifecycle.

Documentation Control : Ensure all configuration management activities are properly documented and maintained according to organizational standards.

Lifecycle Management : Implement and manage configuration management processes across the entire product lifecycle, from initial development to final release and maintenance.

Compliance and Standards : Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations related to configuration management and control.

Training and Support : Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on configuration management processes and best practices.

Experience Requirements :

15 years of experience in Navy shipbuilding and acquisition programs.

Experience in Navy's shipbuilding configuration management process.

Experience in managing CM among ship platform level and systems level, and familiarity with CM within the Siemens Teamcenter environment preferred.

Educational & Certification Requirements :

Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
