Management Duties
Properly manage and maintain gym operational budgetResponsible for overseeing the sales process and systemsManage, monitor, and evaluate the performance of all gym-related managersMonitor the hiring, training and scheduling of all gym level staffTrain and mentor subordinatesProperly delegate, monitor and evaluate specifically assigned responsibilities of the sales team through the Sales ManagerResponsible for managing disciplinary actions involving all gym level employeesOperational Duties
Provide and maintain the highest level of customer service in a high volume retail environment through personal actions and development of the staffProvide effective decision making regarding customer service issuesPlan and promote special events for the gym on a monthly basis, using corporate marketing as neededResponsible for ensuring that the facility is clean and operationally soundJob Qualifications
High School diploma with five years professional experience. College degree preferredFitness industry experience preferred but not requiredBe promotionally-oriented and have the ability to direct sales through company required outreach programsStrong customer service orientation with proven resultsUnderstanding of performance metrics including P&L, revenue, budgeting, inventory, payroll, cost controls and facilities maintenanceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsEntrepreneurial spirit with open, participative leadership style and drive for excellenceStrong work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanorAssociate or Bachelor's degree in business or related field with two years of management experience preferredCurrent CPR Certification
