Job descriptionTransesophageal echocardiography (TEE) with interpretation TEE with cardioversion Nuclear cardiology studies Coronary CTA Administration and management of Gp IIb / IIIa, vasoactive, and thrombolytic agents
This position is authorized to provide the right candidate with a sign-on bonus, pay for moving expenses to the Wilkes-Barre, PA area, and pay up to $200,000 toward education costs!! In addition, salary can go above the maximum amount shown if candidate meets annual performance metrics.
The Cardiologist (Non-Invasive) will be a vital part of the Wilkes-Barre VA Healthcare System and will provide outpatient and inpatient consultative service.
Core Cardiology Procedures
- Cardiac stress testing
- Cardioversion
- Echocardiogram interpretation
- Holter monitor interpretation
- Pericardiocentesis (emergency)
- Temporary transvenous pacemaker placement
- Tilt table testing
- Use of thrombolytic agents
- Final Interpretation of EKGs
- Fluoroscopy
