Our expanding business is seeking a full-time on-site Construction Project Superintendent to oversee all phases of assigned construction projects. We are seeking someone with 5-20+ years’ experience with a hard-bid general contracting company. Commercial experience is a must, preferably with a background working on Federal projects in the Healthcare arena. Experience with Department of Veterans Affairs is a plus. Compensation and project assignment are relative based on experience and personal capability.
Primary Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) :
- Safety and Quality Control for assigned projects
- Scheduling and coordinating each project activities according to project schedule
- Manage and coordinate all subcontractor and supplier scopes of work
- Read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Ability to effectively manage, supervise, and coordinate manpower, material, equipment and subcontractors
- Coordinate & lead all site safety and quality inspections
- Hold weekly coordination meetings with owners and subcontractors
- Create daily reports with Microsoft Office
- Order, monitor, and coordinate materials deliveries
- Project start up, project completion, and entire close-out process

Minimum (5) years commercial experienceOSHA 30 Hour qualifiedAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsAbility to utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and Adobe PDF to mid-level and above. Must be able to type and manipulate documentsTeam player able to communicate with our company, subcontractors and ownersProven and solid understanding of construction in general and project planning in particularExcellent organizational skills, ability to plan, execute and deliver projects on timeAbility to pass a background investigation for Federal jobs is required.Engineering or Construction Management degree is preferred but not requiredJob Type : Full-time
