CME Associates is seeking a Traffic Engineer to join our team in East Brunswick, NJ. The ideal candidate will have expertise in traffic analysis, signal design, and transportation planning.

Responsibilities

• Traffic Analysis & Modeling : Conduct traffic impact studies, capacity analysis, and safety evaluations using industry-standard software.
• Signal & Intersection Design : Design traffic signals, roadway signage, pavement markings, and intersection improvements following NJTA, NJDOT and MUTCD standards.
• Transportation Planning & Studies : Develop traffic control plans, detour plans, and transportation management strategies for public and private sector projects.
• Regulatory Compliance & Permitting : Prepare reports, design documents, and permit applications to ensure compliance with NJTA, NJDOT, MUTCD, AASHTO, and local transportation agencies.
• Plan Development & Software Utilization : Prepare technical drawings and design plans using CAD software, with a preference for MicroStation .
