Quality Improvement Abstractor

Title : Quality Improvement Abstractor

Duration : 4 Months

Location : Remote- TX

Day-to-day responsibilities :

• Will be required to complete training / testing on HEDIS measures (3 attempts). Required score of 95% to pass.
• Will perform independent review of medical records and abstract and overread based on HEDIS measure standards.
• Critical thinking required in order to apply available resources and references to chart reviews.
• Will attend meetings.
• Experience with MS Teams is preferred.
• Computer literacy is a must. This project requires the use of multiple software platforms. Data entry and tracking in Excel, Microsoft Applications, Sharepoint, QMRM(QSHR), Citrix, etc.

Previous HEDIS abstraction / overread experience

Previous experience with HEDIS, NCQA, Quality Initiatives / Standards.

Education Requirement :

Associates of Science in Nursing (ADN)

Education Preferred :

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Software Skills Required :

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Applications including Excel.

Required Certifications :

Texas LVN / RN

Required Testing :

Excel proficiency test with a score of 100%
