Tax Reporting and Cost Basis Senior Supervisor

The individual selected for this role will collaborate with the Tax Reporting & Cost Basis Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the department. The tax reporting and cost basis department is responsible for the accurate cost basis in client's accounts across the firm along with the timely production of annual tax forms including IRS forms 1099, 1042s, 5498, etc. The department is also responsible for backup withholding remittance to the IRS, estate valuations and the taxability of daily corporate actions. The ideal candidate will be focused, results-driven, analytical, and have strong technical skills. Essential duties and responsibilities include :

• Organization and Time Management - Structure operational workflow to reliably and accurately complete multiple tasks under frequent time constraints
• Problem Solving - Analyzecomplex problems presented to the team and come up with solutions that are scalable and meet the need of our partners across the organization
• Driving Change - Identify areas for enhancement / improvement and gain organizational buy in to implement those changes
• Communicating Effectively - Must be able to effectually communicate verbally and in writing with Operations leadership and financial advisors
