Job Details : \n

  • Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM

    • \n

  • Patient ratios of 1 : 1-2 in the CICU

    • \n

  • Every other weekend requirement (12 weekend shifts during contract)

    • \n

  • May be placed on call for low census but no additional call shifts required

    • \n

  • May float to MICU or other departments as needed based on census

    • \n

  • 2 years of ICU experience required

    • \n

  • First-time travelers accepted

    • \n

  • South Carolina or Multi-State Compact RN license required

    • \n

  • Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

    • \n

  • Preferred equipment experience with CRRT-Prismax

    • \n

  • 12 hours of orientation provided

    • \n

  • Royal blue scrubs required

    • \n

  • Epic charting system

    • \n

  • Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

    • \n

  • Care for adult and geriatric patients with primarily cardiac diagnoses

    • \n

  • Unit takes MICU / SICU overflow patients

    • \n

  • Work with specialized equipment including FloTrac, Impella, IABP, and CRRT

    • \n

  • 60-mile local radius policy applies

    • \n

  • Pre-start modules required (approximately 4 hours, non-billable)

    • \n

  • May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)

    This acute care hospital features a newly established ICU unit that provides specialized cardiac intensive care services. The facility operates a 4-bed CICU with plans to expand to 16 beds as volume increases. The hospital offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and various other specialized services. The facility maintains modern equipment and technology to support complex cardiac care and critical care needs.
