What you’ll do

As the Account Executive (AE), you are a highly motivated self‑starter responsible for developing and closing new business in an assigned geographic territory. You acquire new customers or sell additional use cases, products and services into existing accounts, exceed monthly and quarterly quotas, drive adoption and usage, and collaborate with internal teams and the broader Docusign partner ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Drive success of the company’s goals through achieving individual sales quotas.
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline via prospecting in a geographic territory or core verticals.
  • Deliver customized sales presentations and product demonstrations by phone and online demo.
  • Negotiate enterprise‑level proposals and contracts.
  • Forecast sales activity and revenue accurately using sales tools.
  • Collaborate effectively with Sales Development Representatives, Market Development Representatives, Solutions Consultants, Customer Success Account Managers, Partner Account Managers, and other pre‑post sales resources.

What you bring

Basic

  • BS / BA degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in an AE role or equivalent quota‑carrying role.
  • Preferred

  • 3+ years SaaS sales experience.
  • Experience selling web‑based products / services.
  • Experience managing and closing complex sales cycles.
  • Demonstrated ability to over‑achieve quotas (top 10‑20% of company) in past positions.
  • Proficient with Salesforce.com, Google Suite, Tableau.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Travel as necessary, typically 10%.
  • Compensation

    Base salary range : California $37.74 / hr – $57.12 / hr; Illinois $36.44 / hr – $50.11 / hr; Washington $36.44 / hr – $51.88 / hr. Variable incentive pay based on pre‑established sales goals.

    Locations
