Requirements  Adirondack MC, Saranac Lake, NY

OB / GYN Locum Needed for Coverage : November 14–15 & December 26–28

• Board Certification :
• Preferred (ACOG or ABOG), but will accept board eligible candidates with strong qualifications

Shift Times :

7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 AM (24-hour pager call only)

Call Requirements :

On-call only; must be within 30 minutes of the hospital

Average Volume :

Deliveries : 2–6 per month

GYN Emergencies : 2–4 per month

Procedures Required :

Vaginal delivery

Cesarean section

Laparoscopic skills for typical GYN emergency coverage

Dilation and curettage (D&C)

Support Staff :

APP Coverage : Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)

Physician Backup : General Surgery

EMR Systems :

Meditech

eClinical Works

Credentialing Timeline :

2–4 weeks, dependent on physician responsiveness

Additional Information :

Pager call only

Low volume department

Must be within 30 minutes of the hospital for call coverage
