Job Title : RN Utilization Manager Profession : RN Utilization Manager Specialty : L1RN : Utilization Management Duration : 14 weeks Shift : 5x8.0 Hours per Shift : 8 hours Experience : - Minimum of five (5) years recent experience in clinical nursing or related nursing field. - Previous experience in Care Management, Case Management, or Utilization Management. - Previous experience with screening criteria (e.g., InterQual, MCG). License : - Current licensure by the state nursing board. Certifications : - ACM / CCM Certification is highly desired. Must-Have : - Excellent critical thinking and communication skills. - Strong computer skills. Description : Full-Time position requiring 40 hours per week with shifts from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM. Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required. A BSN degree is preferred. Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) years of recent clinical nursing experience. Experience in Care Management, Case Management, or Utilization Management is required. Candidates must be familiar with screening criteria such as InterQual and MCG.
