Position Overview :

We have an immediate need for a locum Interventional Radiology Physician to provide interventional procedures for our veteran population at the VA Medical Center in Bronx, NY. This role offers a great assignment with an opportunity to make a meaningful impact with nations veterans while experiencing NYC s endless attractions.

Must have completed a residency in Interventional Radiology and be Board Certified / Board Eligible in accordance with the American Board of Radiology

Credentialling and onboarding takes approximately 4 weeks.

The Interventional Radiology scope includes, but is not limited to :

• Angiography
• Cryoablation
• Balloon angioplasty / stent placement
• Line insertion
• Chemoembolization
• IVC filters
• Cholecystostomy
• Kyphoplasty
• Drain insertions
• Nephrostomy placement
• Embolization
• Gastrostomy (radiologically placed)
• Thrombolysis
• Dialysis access & related interventions
• Biopsy
• TIPS placement
• Radiofrequency / Microwave ablation
• Biliary interventions

Hours & Schedule :

Monday through Friday 8 : 00am 4 : 30pm

On call (Nights / Weekends / Holidays) required

Position starts 12 / 1 / 2025 and is up to a 5-year opportunity!

Current CV without any gaps over 30 days since completion of medical school- written explanations are accepted

One active, unrestricted Medical License in any state

Current DEA

BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association (AHA)
