Job Title : IT Multi-Discipline Analyst 1
Department : Arts and Sciences | Information Technology
Functions as a member of the Arts and Sciences Technology Services Instruction and Research IT Support Services (ASCTech IRIS) team. Works under the direction of tier three IT Multi-Discipline support staff for projects; able to work independently on structured assignments. Provides customer support, and hardware / software support to diverse service, instruction, and research customers in the College; deploys, troubleshoots, and resolves hardware and software problems, including discipline specific software; provides customers with technical advice; recommends standard solutions or works with their team to provide unique solutions when required; troubleshoots initial network and storage issues; first level response to security / compliance events; escalates and communicates when needed; mentors and coaches student employees; may require occasional evening or weekend hours. Other duties as assigned.
Required : Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Strong customer support experience and ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing; demonstrated ability to deliver service and resolve issues; demonstrated problem solving / troubleshooting skills. Experience supporting end-user computers in a professional environment.
Desired : Desired proficiency with Macintosh, Windows, and Linux like RHEL, Ubuntu, or Debian based distribution; working knowledge of PC and Apple hardware; experience with a scripting language like Python, shell, or PowerShell. Exposure to configuration and management software like Puppet, Ansible, Satellite, Jamf, Bomgar, etc.

The pay range for this job profile is $26.78 - $30.87. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, the unit\'s available budget, and the candidate\'s qualifications.
