Summary
Operate and monitor plastic molding machines and notify the supervisor if there are any problems. Visually inspect parts produced and determine if they meet quality standards.

Shifts: Multiple Shifts: Monday-Friday Day 6am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday Swing 2pm-10:30pm, Sunday-Thursday Graveyard 10pm-6:30am (call for current availability)
Pay: $17/hr
Location: Beaverton *This position is accessible by public transit!

Duties

• Operate molding and other production machines safely and efficiently, notifying the lead or supervisor if there are any problems.
• Some troubleshooting skills are required.
• Visually inspect parts and determine if they meet the acceptable quality limits. Conduct quality checks using measuring equipment.
• Package parts as specified to ensure proper and safe handling of the product.
• Complete documentation on defective parts

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of light-industrial experience (manufacturing, production, warehouse)
• Basic measuring and hand tools experience
• Regular and predictable attendance.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Speak, Read, Write in English for workplace safety.
• Ability to do basic mental math and use computers
