Job descriptionPerform all aspects of neurodiagnostic testing including electroencephalograms, multi‑modality evoked potentials, electronystagmograms, and surgical monitoring on patients of varying ages and medical conditions. Work independently utilizing sophisticated instrumentation and decision‑making in treatment and handling of patients. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and service on an on‑going basis. Understands how to access department and medical center information. Mentains confidentiality and promotes the dignity of customers and associates. Incorporates patient, physician, customer needs and concerns into decision‑making and organizational action. Performs neurology procedures according to physician orders, department policy / procedure, and patient care plan. Cross‑trains and signs off competencies for relief staff. High School Diploma or Equivalent. Up to 1 Year of Experience. BCLS obtained through the American Heart Association (Preferred).
Neurology Technician - Neurology Unit Full Time Nights
Schedule : Full Time Nights (36 hours per week). Shift : 3‑Night. Location : AdventHealth Shawnee Mission, 9100 West 74th Street, Merriam, KS 66204.
