Responsibilities :
- Process payroll accurately and efficiently using QuickBooks Online Payroll, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Manage payroll-related functions, including tax filings, employee benefits, and deductions.
- Prepare and record journal entries while maintaining the integrity of the general ledger.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Generate financial statements and reports to support management in decision-making processes.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Assist in month-end and year-end financial closing procedures.
- Provide documentation and support during audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Identify and implement improvements in accounting and payroll processes to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to address financial and payroll-related inquiries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, including the payroll module.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Familiarity with payroll regulations and tax compliance requirements.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel with the ability to work with complex datasets, formulas, and pivot tables.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external vendors.
