We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate

Nursing Assistant

to join our team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will work under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care and implement delegated activities of the nursing plan.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate an understanding of basic nursing skills and skills unique to the assigned clinical unit(s). Responsibilities may include :

• Meeting the hygienic, nutritional, elimination, activity, comfort, and safety needs of patients;
• Obtaining and reporting vital signs (TPR and BP);

Performing urine reductions, transporting (transferring, discharging) patients; and

Obtaining supplies / equipment as necessary from designated departments.

As a Nursing Assistant, you will also have the opportunity to individualize patient care using age-related concepts based on the unit population assigned. This includes caring for infants (1 month to 1 year), toddlers (1-2 years), preschoolers (3-5 years), school-age children (6-12 years), adolescents (13-17 years), adult patients, including early adults (18-35 years), middle adults (36-65 years), and older adults (66+ years).
