Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center is seeking a passionate Surgical Technologist I to become a vital part of our dedicated team, providing top-notch surgical care in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Major Responsibilities :

  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for optimal patient care while utilizing aseptic surgical techniques.
  • Prepare materials, supplies, and equipment for various surgical procedures while anticipating the Surgeon's needs.
  • Set up operating rooms efficiently and ensure all equipment is in working order.
  • Assist in various surgical procedures as a Second Assistant when required.
  • Transport patients and maintain specialty carts ensuring all items are complete and sterile.

    • Additional Requirements :

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Ability to lift and carry weights and work in a physically demanding environment.
