Description
PETS Referral Center is seeking a board-certified surgeon or surgical residency-trained veterinarian to join our existing surgical department for a two-surgeon team! We have 7 days a week onsite Radiologists, a busy ER caseload, and strong connections with our referral community. This allows for rapid identification of surgical cases and a good balance of soft tissue and orthopedic patients. We are a 24-hr specialty and emergency hospital located in Berkeley, California, the heart of the San Francisco Bay Area.
Our team includes boarded specialists in Surgery (1 doctor), Radiology (2 doctors), Oncology (2.5 doctors), Ophthalmology (2 doctors), exotics (1 doctor), and an experienced and internship-trained emergency department staffed 24hrs a day. We have a highly skilled and cohesive nursing team to support the surgical department. Our team has high retention; many of our staff have been with us for 10+ years.

Requirements : Boarded or board-eligible with the ability to obtain a CA state license
Compensation : Up to $75,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates based on experience. Ability to earn $400,000 – 600,000 annually.

To qualify, you must hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree and a State Veterinary Board License in good standing.
