Valve Team Member – Responsibilities

The Valve Team Member maintains, refurbishes and tests the electrical, mechanical and control functions of motor operated valves, air operated valves and mechanical valves.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus three (3) years work experience in Valve Maintenance to include either Motor Operated Valve Maintenance, Air Operated Valve Maintenance and / or Mechanical Valve Maintenance.

Testing Information

Tests are only administered to referred candidates. More information about our tests and the testing process can be found HERE.

A test using a computer with keyboard will be administered.

E-mail will be the method of contact with job applicants for test scheduling. Please be sure to check your e-mail regularly so that you receive scheduling notifications for testing and updated job information.

Plant / Field Role : This position requires work to be performed in the field and / or at the work site, due to the nature of work.

Any PVGS employee may be called upon for random Fitness For Duty Testing (FFD) during scheduled working hours. Employees must report to FFD at Palo Verde as soon as reasonably practicable, but no more than 120 minutes after being notified. Employees who are onsite when notified will have no more than 60 minutes to report after being notified.
