Join a renowned Cancer Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan, seeking a Board-Certified Hematologist-Oncologist for Locum Tenens coverage starting October 1, 2025 . Work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team focused primarily on hematology , covering both inpatient consults and outpatient clinic .

🏥 Practice Details

Schedule : Monday–Friday | 8 : 00 AM–5 : 00 PM

Call : Weeknight Call (5 PM–7 AM) | 1 : 5 rotation with APP support

Setting : Inpatient Consults

Outpatient Clinic + Infusion Center (attached to hospital)

EMR : Epic

Patient Population : Adult & Geriatric

Average Volume :

Inpatient : 10–15 / day

Outpatient : 15 / day

👥 Team Structure

6 Physicians

11 APPs (Split across Inpatient & Outpatient)

Radiation Oncologists On-Site

🩺 Clinical Scope

Hematology & Oncology (Inpatient + Outpatient)

Required Duties : FNA / Biopsy

Tumor Board Participation

Test Ordering, Imaging, Prescribing, Billing

Job Requirements

✅ Candidate Requirements

Board Certified in Hematology-Oncology – REQUIRED

Active Michigan Medical License – Strongly Preferred

Open to reviewing candidates needing licensure

BLS Certification – REQUIRED

Availability to start around October 1, 2025

Comfortable with both inpatient and outpatient hematology-oncology

Proficient in Epic EMR (or adaptable)

Willing to participate in Tumor Board and perform FNA / Biopsy procedures
