State Licensed DRG Specialist II

A company is looking for a DRG Specialist II to join their coding team.

Key Responsibilities

Review clinical documentation to ensure accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures

Conduct focused chart audits and prepare monthly productivity reports on DRG revenue profiles

Facilitate compliance with coding guidelines and provide training to coding personnel and medical staff

Qualifications

Five years of experience in a DRG Specialist or DRG audit-related position

Knowledge of computer technology and DRG methodology is preferred

Certification as a CCS, CPC, RN, or equivalent is required

Current licensure in the state where the facility is located or a multistate license

Ability to communicate professionally with healthcare personnel
