Responsibilities

Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians.

Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as necessary.

Contribute to achieving departmental targets and performance metrics.

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records for all treatments administered.

Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines in the workplace.

Educate patients and families on respiratory therapy procedures and equipment.

Ensure all respiratory therapy equipment is properly maintained and functioning.

Engage in regular performance reviews to assess and enhance personal growth.

Utilize data and analytics to optimize patient care and treatment outcomes.

Participate in continuous professional development and training opportunities.

Provide input on improving respiratory therapy protocols and procedures.

Experience / Qualifications

Possess a valid Respiratory Therapist license in Texas.

Minimum of 2 years experience in a clinical respiratory therapy setting.

Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.

Strong proficiency in using respiratory therapy equipment and technology.

Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Proven track record of meeting departmental targets and performance metrics.

Ability to adapt to high visibility work environments with measurable results.

Excellent communication skills for patient and family education.

Demonstrated ability to analyze data to improve patient care outcomes.

Familiarity with safety and regulatory guidelines in healthcare.
