A well-established civil contractor in Central Florida is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to support its continued growth across site development, underground utilities, and municipal infrastructure work. The business has a long-standing presence in the Winter Haven area and is known for disciplined operations, reliable delivery, and strong repeat client relationships.

This position leads the full estimating process for sitework, earthwork, roadway, and utility packages. You will be responsible for developing accurate takeoffs, producing detailed cost structures, analysing project risk, and preparing competitive proposals. The role requires strong technical judgment, a clear understanding of local production rates, and the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead estimates for site development, utilities, and heavy civil scopes
• Complete detailed takeoffs, cost analyses, and bid proposals
• Interpret plans, specifications, and municipal standards
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing; ensure comprehensive bid coverage
• Work closely with project managers on scope alignment and bid handoff
• Maintain historical cost data, production assumptions, and pricing benchmarks
• Support strategic bid decisions and forecasting initiatives
