Workday Configuration Specialist
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Workday Configuration Specialist to join our HR Systems team. In this role, you’ll support the Workday platform by configuring, customizing, and optimizing functionality to align with strategic business goals. You’ll respond to tickets, incidents, and user requests while also contributing to larger, more complex projects that drive innovation and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Optimize Workday Configuration : Ensure smooth operation of Workday by analyzing current configurations, identifying gaps, and implementing scalable solutions.
- Deliver Exceptional Support : Respond to tickets and incidents with professionalism and a consultative approach. Provide troubleshooting and guidance to end-users while maintaining clear communication.
- Enhance System Performance : Conduct regular quality assurance reviews, implement enhancements, and support regression testing during Workday releases.
- Maintain Data Integrity : Run audits, analyze data, and support transactional review processes to ensure data cleanliness and accuracy.
- Lead Release Management : Plan for Workday releases by identifying impacts, communicating changes, and supporting testing and implementation.
- Foster Knowledge Sharing : Maintain team documentation and knowledge bases to ensure information is accessible and collaboration is seamless.
What We’re Looking For
Workday Expertise : Hands-on experience configuring at least two Workday modules (e.g., Talent & Performance, Absence & Time Tracking, Recruiting, Core HCM) in a mid-to-large-sized organization.HR Process Knowledge : Familiarity with HR business processes and metrics, and experience partnering with stakeholders to design effective Workday solutions.Problem-Solving Skills : Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root-cause analysis and understand cross-functional impacts.Self-Starter Mentality : A sense of urgency, ownership, and accountability. You’re organized, resourceful, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Strong Communication : Excellent customer service orientation, conflict resolution skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities with professionalism.This role will support Workday Configuration Leads across multiple modules and play a key part in shaping the future of our HR technology landscape.
