Responsibilities :

As an Advanced Practice Provider , you will be integral to delivering excellent patient care, which includes :

Conducting thorough patient histories and performing comprehensive physical examinations.

Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions.

Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests.

Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized patient treatment plans.

Prescribing medications and other therapies in accordance with state and federal regulations and practice protocols.

Performing minor procedures relevant to the scope of practice and specialty.

Providing extensive patient education and counseling on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment adherence.

Collaborating effectively with supervising physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals.

Maintaining accurate, complete, and timely electronic medical records (EMR).

Participating in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.

Qualifications :

For Physician Assistants (PA)

Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant (PA) license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Current NCCPA certification.

For Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Current, unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.

Current national certification as an NP from an accredited body.

Continued Qualifications :

• Current DEA registration.
• BLS / ACLS certification (as required by specialty and facility policy).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider, Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
• Proficiency in EMR systems
• Exceptional clinical assessment, diagnostic reasoning, and treatment planning skills.
• Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and patient education abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Unwavering commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-centered care.
