Job description

JOB SUMMARY

Under the general direction of the Facilities Manager , will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the upkeep and functionality of manufacturing machines and equipment . Conducting regular maintenance checks , troubleshooting problems and performing repairs as necessary to keep production equipment running smooth and efficiently . Other maintenance or equipment projects as needed .

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Install , maintain and repair machinery and equipment
  • Dismantle machines , repair and replace defective parts
  • Inspect and test machines to diagnose problems
  • Lubricate and clean machinery
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks
  • Read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
  • Adhere to safety regulations
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records
  • Other general maintenance or equipment projects as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Graduate , GED or hands - on experience working with mechanical systems . A plus would be technical or vocational training or certification .
  • Should be safety conscious , able to work independently or as a team .
  • Problem solving skills to diagnose and repair machinery malfunctions .

    • Pay Range Is :

    $20-$25 based on experience - Willing to train the right candidate

    Salary / Compensation : $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
