Outpatient and Family Medicine Medical Coder
Systems : EMR : Cerner
Encoder : 3M
Job Type : Contract 40 hours a week
Location : Fully remote
Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts between 11 AM EST and 10 PM EST
Remote coding role doing facility and profee coding for a Critical Access Hospital with a large outpatient clinic. Experience with outpatient coding and family medicine coding is required.
What You’ll Do :
- Assign accurate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes
- Review provider documentation for clarity and compliance
- Collaborate with providers and billing teams to maximize reimbursement
- Help improve workflows and reduce errors through your expertise
