About The Position

General Description :

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Pediatric ICU or Neonatal ICU settings. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional respiratory care to critically ill pediatric and neonatal patients. This long-term assignment offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary healthcare environment dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care. The candidate must hold all relevant certifications and licenses and demonstrate proficiency in respiratory therapy protocols and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) License of Texas
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
  • Skills & Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, and implement respiratory care treatments for pediatric and neonatal patients in critical care settings.
  • Operate and monitor respiratory therapy equipment such as ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and airway management devices.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust patient care plans.
  • Monitor patient responses to therapy and make necessary adjustments to optimize outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
  • Provide patient and family education regarding respiratory treatments and care plans.
  • Ensure all respiratory care activities comply with hospital protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Assist in emergency respiratory interventions and life support measures as needed.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the Respiratory Care Department.
