Senior Lead Product Manager
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Product Manager with the Deposit & Credit Bureau Management Office (DCBMO). As a Product Owner for the DCBMO, you will bring a strategic mindset and passion for experimentation as you work closely with other Product Owners, agile delivery teams, partners, and stakeholders across the organization to employ product management and agile techniques to optimize products for our customers. You will help drive the delivery of outcomes to the marketplace through ownership of the product backlog inclusive of prioritization, transparency into upcoming work, setting of product goals, and communication to support shared understanding. This role will lead Agile teams delivering against Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for our Credit and Deposit Bureau Consumption department. This includes the configuration of new workflow solutions, six quarter planning for the line of business and Consumption's workflow platform, operational reporting, recurring platform technology maintenance, and related initiatives. This person will conduct ongoing discovery and technical design to identify the right tools and solutions for enabling high-value priorities. The team is moving to a product-based delivery architecture to ensure timely, efficient delivery against strategic OKRs focused on risk reduction, efficiency gains, and improved user experience.
In this role, you will : Manage the overall product backlog, including conducting initial discovery work coming through intake, to determine product alignment and prioritization. Identify and resolve sequencing and prioritization conflicts across product areas. Lead Agile delivery in support of configuration within the Consumption platform and line of business priorities. Participate in agile ceremonies at the team and team-of-teams level, including quarterly program implement planning sessions for both the line of business and their Consumption workflow platform. Break down product strategy and roadmap into quarterly features and sprint level goals and priorities. Define prioritized features and corresponding justification based on customer and business value that are directly derived from the product OKRs. Develop acceptance criteria for features and stories based on their product strategy to ensure successful delivery. Develop sprint plans with the team. Communicate priorities and the "vision" to the scrum masters and agile development team and deliver a continually evolving roadmap. Perform product demos to customers, partners and other stakeholders. Propose delivery estimates and support the product leadership team in making prioritization tradeoffs. Work closely with multiple lines of technology and business stakeholders in support of maintaining and improving the enablement and delivery of workflow solutions. Monitor and evolve product success metrics at a feature level and support the product team in reporting progress against the business case and OKRs. Advise leadership to develop or influence business plans, business requirements, direct product design and implementation for complex business and technical needs. Engage with leaders, stakeholders, subject matter experts, scrum masters, and delivery leads. Serve as an adept advisor to leadership.
Required Qualifications, US : 7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following : work experience, training, military experience, education.
Desired Qualifications : 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner following Agile principals. 3+ years of experience with enterprise workflow platforms. 3+ years of experience in the credit bureau industry. 3+ years of experience with SDLC and Agile practices and frameworks (e.g., Kanban, Scrum, etc.) as well as collaboration tools, such as Confluence, Jira and Jira Align. Demonstrated experience with complex products that require understanding of underlying platform functionality, transaction processing flows, data transmission technology, and / or business services / API / SDK technology. Experience leading a team to deliver business solutions and software products. Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills. Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong presentation skills. Proven track record of bringing successful products to market. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed organization, developing partnerships across lines of business and functional areas. Demonstrated product roadmap development and evolution competencies. Ability to partner with various areas of Risk management to insure delivered software meets any and all compliance requirements. Ability to partner with Technology to define and deliver solutions.
