Siemens Energy is seeking\nan Engineer for our Combustion Products Division to innovate and improve our\nmanufacturing processes and equipment reliability. This role requires a blend\nof project management, continuous improvement, and strong internal communication\nskills alongside mechanical and controls aptitude with problem-solving\nprowess to enhance production capabilities and drive excellence in the energy\nsector.
How You’ll\nMake an Impact :
\n
- Identify and support projects aimed at\n enhancing manufacturing capabilities, yields, productivity, and capacity by designing and integrating new data capture and analysis tools via\n IoT and using Lean Manufacturing principles where applicable.
\n
Develop and deliver technical\n documentation, estimates, reports, and training materials based on process\n data to facilitate knowledge transfer and process improvement.\n
Provide technical direction and training\n to internal teams and suppliers, ensuring alignment with best practices\n and operational goals.\n
Monitor and analyze production and\n equipment performance metrics to maintain cost and quality targets,\n focusing on production yield, defect reduction, and machine uptime.\n
Manage individual Root Cause Analysis\n investigations and report-outs in response to machine and process failures\n encountered.\n
Assist in asset and process management,\n including conducting operational audits, managing scrap processes and root\n causes, and training personnel and lead special projects as directed by\n management.\n
What You\nBring : \n
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical,\n electrical, or manufacturing engineering, or an associate’s degree with\n equivalent experience required.\n
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a\n manufacturing environment focused on machine programming, troubleshooting,\n and maintenance.\n
Familiarity with Lock-out / Tag-out\n procedures and mechanical skills for equipment troubleshooting and repair.\n
Proficient in programmable logic\n controllers (PLC) and networking IoT devices and sensors.\n
Knowledge of lean concepts, MRP systems,\n quality control, and predictive maintenance systems is essential.\n
Strong leadership, collaboration, and\n communication skills; preferred qualifications include EHS knowledge and\n equipment safety protocols; must be authorized to work in the U.S. without\n sponsorship.\n

Our Gas Services division\noffers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero\nor low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam\nturbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings,\nmodernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
