Job Title : Pharmacy Technician – Sterile & Non-Sterile Compounding

Location : Kalispell, Montana

Employment Type : Full-Time

Schedule : Monday–Friday, Day Shift (No weekends or holidays)

Position Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our compounding team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in both sterile and non-sterile environments, with a strong commitment to accuracy, cleanliness, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounded medications according to prescription orders, standard operating procedures and Montana and federal law.
Maintain proper documentation in compliance with USP

, and

regulations.

Ensure cleanliness and aseptic conditions in sterile compounding areas (cleanroom, laminar flow hoods).

Accurately weigh, measure, and mix ingredients using calibrated equipment.

Package and label finished products with a high degree of precision.

Assist in inventory control, ordering, and restocking of compounding supplies.

Support pharmacists in daily operations and uphold a high standard of patient care and safety.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Montana Pharmacy Technician License in good standing (or ability to obtain before start date).

National certification (CPhT).

Previous experience in compounding (sterile and / or non-sterile) highly preferred.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to aseptic technique.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Must be dependable, punctual, and a team player.
