SUMMARY

Join a mission-driven team that's redefining compassionate care. The Social Worker provides expert psychosocial assessment, care planning, and intervention to support patients and families through every step of their healthcare journey. Working as an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, this role ensures seamless coordination of care, timely referrals, and optimal patient outcomes. The Social Worker also supports departmental initiatives and provides coverage during absences, vacancies, and on-call periods-helping the team deliver excellence every day.

CORE COMPETENCIES

Education

Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.

Knowledge

Deep understanding of biopsychosocial and cultural factors influencing clinical care.

Skilled in navigating healthcare systems, procedures, and community resources.

Insight into today's evolving healthcare environment, with the ability to synthesize data for informed care decisions.

Skills

Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.

Proven clinical expertise in mental health and healthcare settings.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess needs, develop treatment plans, and drive continuous improvement.

Licensure / Certification

Licensed at the LMSW level by the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners.

Candidates pending out-of-state licensure may be considered per Board regulations.

Experience

At least one year of clinical social work experience preferred (internship may apply), ideally within a healthcare or behavioral health environment.

Salary Range : Minimum / hour - Maximum / hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
