Job Responsibilities

Under general direction, provides nursing care in collaboration with the patients and serves as a resource person for staff; evaluates patients' qualifications for clinical research studies; presents lectures, seminars, programs, or conferences; responsible for collaboration, facilitation, and implementation of research projects; provides direct clinical service to patients and families including psychosocial assessment, crisis intervention, counseling, supportive therapy, behavior modification, care management, and patient education.

Job Requirements

ADN required

BSN preferred Will accept ADN if enrolled in BSN program Must have BSN in 36 months (3yrs)

Must have 2 years of current, recent ER experience.

MUST have acute care experience in a hospital setting

Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provide

Current Texas State Licensure as a Registered Nurse (Compact license is accepted but TX State RN license required within 30 days of hired

Current ACLS / BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
