The Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) Technical Assistance (TA) Coordinator will co-lead monitoring activities specific to the MDE OSE Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) Capacity Building and Improvement Effort. The LRE TA Coordinator will support a system-level improvement effort through an in-depth analysis of Intermediate School District (ISD) data collected, utilizing statewide technical assistance resources as applicable to identified areas of improvement. The LRE TA Coordinator will lead a cohort of nine to ten ISDs. The FAPE in the LRE Capacity Building and Improvement Effort is designed to be a six-year monitoring cycle to assess the ISD General Supervision System. The LRE TA Coordinator will support the cohort throughout the six-year cycle. Additionally, the LRE TA Coordinator will support the cohort in developing and implementing an ISD General Supervision System improvement plan, focusing on areas identified through this comprehensive improvement effort.
