Overview
Were seeking an experienced AWS Developer to support large-scale platform modernization initiatives involving application containerization, infrastructure automation, and integration across distributed systems.
This role focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing cloud-native solutions that improve scalability, resilience, and performance for high-volume, business-critical platforms.
The ideal candidate combines strong AWS engineering experience with solid DevOps and automation skills, comfortable working in fast-moving hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud).
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop cloud-native applications and services using AWS technologies (ECS, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS, CloudFormation / Terraform).
Lead containerization and migration of existing applications (ADF, print / distribution, onboarding platforms, and legacy workloads) to AWS.
Build and optimize CI / CD pipelines for multi-environment deployments.
Collaborate with integration and product teams to enable API-first architectures (REST, JSON, XML).
Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks (CloudWatch, CloudTrail, ELK).
Support infrastructure-as-code (IaC) adoption and cloud cost optimization.
Contribute to cloud governance and security alignment with ISO 27001 and ISO 22301 principles.
Partner closely with PMs and architects to ensure alignment between development, operations, and business objectives.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in AWS development and deployment (ECS / EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFormation, S3, RDS, EC2).
Strong background in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI / CD automation (GitLab, Jenkins, or similar).
Proficient in one or more programming / scripting languages (Python, Node.js, Java).
Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Familiarity with networking, IAM, VPC design, and AWS security frameworks.
Hands-on experience supporting on-prem to cloud migrations .
Strong collaboration and communication skills; able to interface with non-technical stakeholders.
AWS Developer or Solutions Architect certification preferred.
