We’re seeking a dynamic, inspiring, and technically exceptional leader to serve as our Chief Architect for Cloud and Strategic Solutions Delivery—a role that will define and lead a new center of excellence for solution architecture across the business. This is not a maintenance role. It’s an envision, build, shape-the-future, elevate-the-enterprise kind of opportunity.
What You Will Do
- Solution Architecture Center of Excellence : Build and lead a team of subject matter experts who will modernize, standardize, and accelerate solution architecture efforts across the organization.
- Cloud & Application Development Capability : Architect and scale a world-class delivery model for cloud-native and enterprise-grade solutions, with a strong emphasis on AWS and other leading platforms.
- Go-to-Market Innovation : Spearhead the creation of reusable solution assets, demo environments, delivery playbooks, and golden paths that empower sales and delivery teams to operate with precision and speed.
- Proposal & Brand Support : Actively support strategic proposal efforts, client marketing initiatives, and brand promotion activities—ensuring our architectural vision is front and center in how we present ourselves to the market.
- Ecosystem Leadership : Elevate Guidehouse’s standing with strategic partners through thought leadership, technical excellence, and deal-flow influence.
- Talent Magnetism : Identify, recruit, and inspire a high-performing team of architects and engineers, drawing from your personal network and industry reputation.

Minimum 12+ years of experience in solution architecture, cloud engineering, or enterprise application developmentAt least 5 years in a leadership role guiding architecture teams or centers of excellenceProven track record of building and scaling cloud-native solutions across multiple industries or verticalsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferredRelevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalentTechnical Expertise
Deep familiarity with modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, containerization, CI / CD, DevSecOps, and API-first designStrong understanding of well-architected frameworks, design patterns, and scalable delivery modelsExperience developing demo environments, reusable assets, and delivery playbooks for sales and implementation teamsLeadership & Influence
Demonstrated ability to recruit, mentor, and lead high-performing teams of architects and engineersStrong executive presence with the ability to inspire cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholdersExperience supporting strategic proposals, client marketing efforts, and brand-building initiativesRelationship Management & Ecosystem Engagement
Established network of trusted relationships with cloud providers, ISVs, and industry leadersProven ability to leverage ecosystem partnerships to co-develop solutions, drive joint go-to-market initiatives, and extend sales reachComfortable representing the company in partner forums, industry events, and executive briefingsWhat Would Be Nice To Have
Master’s degree preferredThe annual salary range for this position is $270,000.00-$450,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
