CNC Shop Supervisor 2nd Shift (4 Day / 10 Hour Shift)

What You'll Do :

• CNC Operation : Set up full production cycle and operate CNC Lathe machines for tasks such as turning, drilling, bar feeding, and live tooling. (Hyundai, Mori, Yugi, HAAS)
• Department Oversight : Manage day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring efficient workflow, adherence to safety protocols, and compliance with time-keeping and performance management procedures.
• Employee Management : Oversee employee performance, provide coaching and feedback, and conduct performance evaluations to support team development and productivity.
• Training & Development : Assist with onboarding and training of new employees, as well as provide ongoing education and skill development for the team.
• Order Management : Expedite and prioritize shop orders through the department to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
• Cross-Department Coordination : Collaborate with management and other departments to ensure smooth manufacturing, fabrication, and assembly processes.
• Workplace Safety & Maintenance : Ensure the team maintains machines and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized manner, addressing safety concerns promptly.
• Process Improvement : Identify and implement opportunities for operational efficiencies and continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
• Problem-Solving : Address and resolve production or personnel issues promptly to avoid disruptions to operations.
• Compliance : Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and industry regulations.
